WHY PORSCHE BRAKES?
The Mini is an excellent handling car, but take one on a race track and you'll soon find its original brake set-up is a major weakness.
We wanted something cheap and hassle-free for our own cars, so we designed our own set-up around the excellent (and cheap!) Porsche 986 Brembo calipers and the large 316mm discs from the R56 John Cooper Works - delivering a true performance brake package at a price we can all afford.
What's included?
2 x CNC Machined Adapter Brackets
Made from Billet Aluminium 7075-T6, CNC Machined to within 0.05mm tolerance.
Black zinc electroplated to prevent corrosion.
4 x Socket-Head Fitting Bolts
12.9 Grade high-tensile steel caliper bolts.

What else will I need?
The Calipers
Buy yourself some Porsche Boxster or Cayman front calipers (the non-s versions). These are commonly found on the 2.5 and 2.7 litre models of 986 and 987. You'll also need to source some brake pads from your favourite brand to match.

Brake Discs (rotors)
Pick up a pair of 316mm R56 JCW uprated front discs (late 2007 to 2010). These are fairly cheap off-the-shelf items at Eurocarparts etc. Many companies do upgraded versions in this size, so the choice is yours.
